LEADERSHIP TEAM

Jon began his career in residential construction building homes for a couple of national home builders. After moving into a management role for several years he transitioned to a large Dallas-area commercial & industrial general contractor. Parlaying the commercial experience he gained, Jon started HCI in 2003 initially focused on commercial interior finish-out's and over the years increased the size of projects and the scope of services into full design-builds as well as large format construction projects and into complete commercial developments.

Courtney Porter is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Construction Management.  As Vice President at HCI Commercial, he provides leadership and oversight for HCI’s day-to-day construction operations which cover a wide variety of projects. Courtney works with the business development and preconstruction teams to evaluate potential new projects and partners with the accounting team to monitor ongoing job costs and overall company finances.

 

Since joining HCI in 2014, Courtney has been a part of the preconstruction, estimating, and project management divisions. His more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry including roles in site assessment, inspection, estimating, and project management in both the public and private sectors. Courtney’s completed projects include education facilities for Texas A&M, Texas Women’s University, and Dallas Independent School District as well as numerous medical office buildings, commercial retail stores, and car washes.

 

When he is not working, Courtney enjoys outdoor activities, amateur woodworking and being an avid sports fan.

Richard Wilson is the Sr. Project Manager for HCI Commercial. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the project management team with over 20 years of construction experience in every facet of the industry. He has demonstrated his abilities with work on some of the largest projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex to include AT&T Stadium, Grapevine Mills Mall, and Texas Motor Speedway. Highly skilled in leadership, communication, and problem-solving, Richard’s focus is on delivering projects on time and within budget.

 

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Richard also served ten years in the United States Marine Corps, earning a Purple Heart while serving in Desert Storm. We are forever grateful for his service.

 

Richard is a member of the Knights of Columbus, and he spends much of his free time volunteering at his Parrish and in the local Dallas community – all while rooting on his favorite team, the Dallas Stars.

Jimie Simeone joined the HCI Commercial team in 2023 as the Preconstruction Manager and Chief Estimator. In these roles, his duties include the day-to-day bidding process, providing leadership to the estimating team, full plan review, and final project proposal assessment. Additionally, he provides oversight for projects requiring permitting needs, partnering with the client and all necessary jurisdictions to get the project approved and permitted. Through the entire pre-construction process, Jimie works diligently to ensure that HCI provides a high-quality product at an optimum price.

 

Jimie holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and a certificate for Construction Management from Collin College.  His experience in the industry began in the field where he served as site superintendent and as field manager. He feels that having this hands-on experience has helped him to better understand all aspects of a project when bidding.

 

In his free time, Jimie enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hunting, fishing, and he is an avid sports fan.

Prior to starting his current role as Field Operations Director, Jason was a Project Superintendent completing numerous successful projects with a focus on quality, on-time delivery and superior customer relations. He has over 20 years of on-site field supervision and leadership with experience in multiple areas of construction. This includes commercial, municipalities, medical, retail, multi-family and residential. Jason also has leadership experience in the oil and gas industries.

 

Jason’s goal in his position with HCI is to coordinate and work with each Project Superintendent from a field perspective to ensure on-time completions, quality construction, superior customer service, safe job sites, and professional presentation of all policy and procedures. With his results-driven attitude, he will work with each project team to provide the best solutions and support to produce a successful construction project that meets the client’s needs and exceeds all expectations.

 

In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his Fiancé and two children, boating, motorcycles, and collecting antique cars and trucks.

Dusty serves a key role at HCI as the Director of Administration. She coordinates all aspects of the corporate office from AP/AR, Human Resources, Payroll, Office Procedures, and coordination of daily activities.

 

With over 20 years of management experience, Dusty has a unique ability to anticipate the needs of both customers and staff. Prior to HCI, Dusty served as the Director of Human Resources for a non-profit agency in Dallas and in Payroll and Human Resources at a large church in the area.

 

Dusty holds a PHR certification from the Society for Human Resource Management and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Western Governors University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on the water and watching sports.
